Arrigal

Arrigal is a traveling merchant vistana. He mostly spends his days traveling outside the Mists where he trades for exotic goods to bring back into Barovia. There he lives in the Vallaki Encampment with daughter Arabelle and his brother Luvash .

Meeting the Outsiders

While returning home with his horse from a recent business trip Arrigal met a party of strangers travelling towards Vallaki. Seeing as they were all going in the same direction, they struck up a conversation. Arrigal informed the obvious Outsiders of some basic knowledge on the town as well as about his home camp. He also asked them if they were going to enter the town then if they could try to buy a doll for his daughter. He would do this himself but all Vistani were banned from entering the town. The Party agreed and they parted ways near Vallaki's east gate.

A Grief-stricken Father

Upon returning home Arrigal was distressed to learn that his daughter had been missing for some time. Arabelle was known for exploring the surrounding forests but she would always return for dinner-time. As he was talking with Luvash on how to organize a search party to find Arabelle, Eon and Styx of the Outsiders entered the camp. Desperate to find his daughter Arrigal asked the strangers for another favor. The two agreed to help the vistana and two days later returned with the safe and sound Arabelle. Arrigal rejoiced to see his little girl safe and rewarded the Party with gifts. Moreover he gave them a coin engraved with a galloping horse. This would mark them as the friends of the Vistani and would earn their support in any camp they would enter.
