As her abilities grew, Vivienne began conducting more extreme and unethical experiments, transfiguring small animals into grotesque creatures. The ethical lines she once respected blurred, and her descent into villainy became inevitable. Her colleagues noticed her growing reclusiveness and secrecy, but none dared confront her.
The turning point came when an invasive experiment on a rival scientist who’d gotten too close went horribly wrong, creating a monstrous abomination. Instead of repenting, Vivienne fled, fully embracing her new identity as the “Abominator.” She began conducting large-scale experiments in the shadows, using kidnapped subjects and becoming a figure of fear. Her ability to manipulate biology and transfigure herself made her nearly impossible to capture, solidifying her status as a dangerous supervillainess.
Discovering the horrendous fleshbeast that had come to know itself as Charlie the Freelance Henchman marked a turning point in Vivienne's research. Taking a break from her other projects and stepping out of the dubious spotlight of an infamous supervillain, she became enamoured with the unique physiology of the distinctly alien being and together they began to expand her retinue of biological aberrations.
