Special abilities
Lucy's abilities are difficult to describe as they often shift, not through her own action, but seemingly at random. Her most consistent power is her distortion bubble that surrounds her and seemingly reduces the effect of gravity on her, giving her an awkward floatation. The bubble itself is resistant to penetration and objects that are unable to pierce it are often left mangled by the aura of distorted reality. Other powers Lucy has displayed include the ability to inflict visual-auditory hallucinations on others, distort reality to twist objects or temporarily redirect gravity, and the ability to summon LSDemons; crystaline creatures that seem to be a little more than illusions.

Due to her near-constant hallucinogenic state, Lucille is often unable to distinguish between what is real and what is a figment of her imagination, and her thoughts are a jumbled mess of bizarre images and sensations. She is constantly bombarded by sensory input, with colours, sounds, and shapes merging together in a kaleidoscope of confusion.
Lucy's detachment from reality has left her mentally unstable and emotionally volatile. She is easily agitated and prone to outbursts of anger or paranoia. Her speech is often disjointed and nonsensical, and her behaviour is unpredictable. She struggles to connect with others on a meaningful level, as her perception of reality is so distorted that she cannot communicate effectively.
When an experimental drug trial went awry, Lucille Conroy and several other addicts attending rehab at Blackmoore Hospital were left with both superpowers and a never ending high, their friend, Billy Crystal, convinced them that the experiment was a cover for something more sinister and so, they decided to escape and press the Mayor for answers about their new status
