Zaebos, and by extension Masie, is a very powerful demon of Hell. She has access to a vast area within the other dimension which she rules over with an iron fist, though she is more interested in spreading her corrupting influence to earth.
Holy Books & Codes
The Diary of Hiram Borsch is a red herring placed in the Petrov home weeks after the demon and Masie had become one. She imbued it with enough dark magic that anyone but the most sharp occult investigators would be fooled into thinking it's a genuine book of dark magic.
Physical Description
Identifying Characteristics
While disguised, Masie is indistinguishable from her appearance pre-corruption, but when she's indulging in her demonic nature, her eyes become reddened, with amorphously-shaped pupils that shift around by the second. Finally, when pushed beyond her normal limits, more of Zaebos' corruption begins to leak out, with her skin becoming paler and a Cheshire grin of jagged, metallic teeth opening up across her face.

Personal history
Ostracized by her peers and forsaken by her demon-worshiping mother, Masie Petrov found herself in a state of vulnerability when the archdemon Zaebos, the Unerring Corruption, sought a new mortal vessel. In her desperate longing for companionship, Masie unwittingly welcomed Zaebos into her life, setting off a harrowing chain of events. Gradually, over the course of several weeks, the boundaries between Masie and Zaebos blurred, until they became inseparable entities, united in both body and spirit. This unholy union granted Zaebos the means to spread its malevolent influence, while Masie indulged in her deepest desires.
Almost overnight, Masie's existence transformed from that of an unpopular loner and mediocre student to the pinnacle of social hierarchy, excelling in all aspects of her academic life. However, this newfound status came at a heavy cost—a gradual erosion of Masie's true self, replaced by Zaebos' corruption. The demon's insidious presence crept into the school and its surroundings, poisoning the minds and hearts of students, teachers, and parents alike. To make matters worse, Masie's mother, a devout follower of demonic practices, took advantage of the chaos, introducing the PTA to her malevolent ways.
At this critical juncture, Masie discerned a sinister opportunity. Realizing that her mother could serve as bait to lure powerful heroes into the school, she hatched a diabolical plan to absorb their souls, amassing immeasurable power and expanding her web of corruption throughout the city of Bathala.
Defeated at the hands of the B-team, Masie and Zaebos found themselves in custody at the Century Holding Unit pending an assessment of their abilities and transportation to a more long-term facility. They were placed behind a powerful magical barrier that could stop any of her minions from passing through and, much to her irritation, Masie's body was inscribed with various blood runes that stopped her from passing through it either.
Zaebos soon decided that a new host would be necessary if she was ever going to escape and following a city-wide blackout, she saw her opportunity. Using her remaining influence over Blaze, to force her into destroying the facility's backup generator and causing a bloody prison riot in the process. This distracted her guards enough that Zaebos' corruption was able to seep out and, over the following day, infect the entire building and its population.
Zaebos was still trapped behind the barrier, but she had a plan. Having lured her previous foes, the B-team into the building, she offered them all a deal; provide her a new body and she'll release her hold on the prison population, offering to sweeten the deal with a special bonus specific to each of them.
Much to her surprise and delight, every member of the team excluding Rue proved willing to take her deal, and she got to watch as they each tried to beat the others to throw themselves at her. When all was said and done however, it was Harmony that that
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Masie is motivated by belonging and friendship, which is what led her to Zaebos in the first place. In their combined form, Masie is motivated by personal power, having began feasting on the souls of those who've wronged her, she now seeks souls of greater quality and power to help make her unstoppable. Her ultimate goal is to take over the school, the city, and eventually the world.
Likes & Dislikes
Masie loves to play games with her victims, giving them the taste of hope before snuffing it out and feasting on their souls, which she does with a ravening gluttony. Those she doesn't intend to kill she prefers to watch as they gradually succumb to her corruption. She'll often take a back seat and observe as their actions become erratic and aggressive, ostracising them from their friends and family before she steps in to offer a kind word or balm, much like what happened to her.
Virtues & Personality perks
Masie, with the help of the demon, has become a highly intelligent expert on all things demonic and has a strong talent for deception and planning, having kept her alteration and subsequent murders mostly not investigated until she wants it to be the case.
Vices & Personality flaws
Despite having been mostly subsumed by the influence of Zaebos, Masie's childishness still presents itself in the form of sadistic games that she likes to play with those she's planning on murdering. With mundane individuals, this is often no problem and she can indulge in all her sadistic fervour, but with superhumans, this may just prove to be her downfall.
Personality Quirks
In her normal human form, Masie has a tendency to run her tongue across her teeth, feeling for the fangs that Zaebos is so used to having. This tends to be less of a problem when she's revealed herself as she'll happily show off her fangs to whomever gets close enough.
