One of the last artificial superhumans created by Schurk Industries with the intent of becoming a fully controlled super soldier and weapon in Joseph Schurk's paramilitary forces. Max was originally designed with the ability to "store" the powers of superhumans he witnessed for use later on. His creators had almost finished with the implantation of the Neural Encephalographic Transceiver that would've rendered him completely controlled when Lithium and Beetlebug decided to turn on their employer and rescue him, leading the three of them on a cross-borders chase that took them to Dubai and back before they were able to ultimately reveal the human rights violations and illegal espionage activities of Schurk industries, allowing the government to step in and dissolve the company.
