Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Hubert lives in abject rejection of his natural form. Sickly looking and frail, he prefers to live under the appearance of anyone else, using this power to give him advantages he otherwise never would have seen. In this way, he can appear in any way he prefers, regardless of size, shape, race, or any other distinguishing characteristic.
Special abilities
Hubert was gifted with two powers. Firstly, he's able to reconfigure his anatomy to replicate any other person he sees. This power isn't perfect however, and is limited to what he's seen of the person, meaning minute and intimate details will regularly be missed. This effect does require a small amount of concentration on Hubert's part, meaning he will often revert back to his true self if he is either naturally or artificially distracted.
Hubert's other power is to create exact copies of himself. Upon creation, a duplicate acts with the same intent that he had when creating it, meaning new duplicates will happily perform any task regardless of the potential danger posed, however, as a duplicate spends more time separate, it begins to diverge in its thoughts and actions from the original, sometimes even acting counter to the wishes of its progenitor. Duplicates that are killed rapidly biodegrade into a thick, inert slurry over the course of a few minutes.

Given that he was only seventeen at the time of his crime spree and eventual incarceration, Hubert never finished secondary education despite being a rather bright young man.
Mental Trauma
Hubert never felt accepted as a child. Always sure that the other kids were making fun of him when the far worse truth was that they weren't paying any attention to him at all. This problem was only compounded as he got older and developed his powers as this meant that Hubert as everyone knew him didn't have to exist and he didn't need to surround himself with anyone apart from his own clones. Over the course of several years, this made Hubert progressively more isolated and deranged until he could no longer remain quiet.
Gifted with the abilities of both personal duplication and shapeshifting, Hubert Anders was never satisfied with his lot in life. Never strong enough, never smart enough, never enough attention. It wasn't until he started noticing the attention that superhero battles were getting on the news that he realised what he could do to finally feel the superiority he so craved.
