Merdan

Merdan is the seat of Clan Mer, a small clan that is in the service of Clan Galvo. It is a ringfort on the western side of Galvacon.

History

Merdan was founded sometime during the first century IE. Nothing much is known about the settlement, but Erbak Balikosha speculated that Merdan's purpose was to strengthen Clan Galvo's claim throughout the island and to prevent rogues and outlaws from taking refuge on the more wild parts of the island.
