A small village full of odd residents, many of which seem to still be bitter about the recent change in government and unhappy with the paltry attempts of the democracy to increase their quality of life, I mean who needs a stupid church?

A decently sized country, bridgleandia is generally considered a small world power simply due to it's centralized location in the world; it's easy for traders to stop halfway in bridgelandia and either get supplies for the next part of the journey, or simply trade the goods there. The people in the ports are always happy to trade for just about anything, as they see so many travelers that they know someone will surely come along and take it. With the government recently overturned from the long lasting monarchy into the new democracy of bridgelandia, the entire coutry seems to be holding it's breath waiting for something to happen. The people were miserable under the kings rule, and with the help fo the many merchants who have traveled through over the years the people were able to rise up and defeat the king. As the new democracy begins to settle, the people are hesitant to get their hopes up about things getting better. There are some who are excited and hopeful for the future, but many are wary at best and some are downright determined that life is horrible and nothing will get better.
