Etrisium
Etrisium is a beautiful place to look upon with large swaths of rolling hills tall mountains visible from nearly any place in the country. To the long sandy beaches and dense forests, to the otherworldly arcane flora around Mol'Amoroth. This beauty however also contains the danger of many deadly beasts, and perhaps worse still, the Anrasha. The lands near the Bladeward Mountains are temperate but as you head south it becomes more and more tropical especially in the Archipelago that the Anrasha have claimed as theirs much to the chagrin of the native Beastraces.
One of the most dreaded places of Etrisium is known as The Hunting Grounds, it is the site of a game the Anrasha love to play. From their prisoners they select those that look the most interesting and send them into the southern forest of Etrisium, they are told that if they can evade the hunters for a week they can go free, if not they will either be slaves or killed depending on how well they do. The hunted are given a talisman with a crystal that on the seventh day will begin to glow brightly marking them as having passed their challenge. Their favorite quarry are the rare kitsune, dopplegangers, and changelings, given their ability to take other forms. For all the negatives of the Anrasha they do follow the Law of Promises and should they evade capture for a week they will be escorted to freedom and will make no move to recapture them, their talisman being their free pass.
Fauna & Flora
Arcane flora
For reasons not fully known many of the plants that exist south of Mol’Amoroth have a curious glow when exposed to moonlight and radiate a faint touch of magical energy. For all other purposes, they are the same as mundane variants of the plants just glow a soft blue when the moons shine on them lighting in the night in a very pleasing way.
Arcofruit is a result of the unique plant life of Etrisium these fruits grow underwater and there are vineyards that are submerged like rice paddies that grow nothing but this fruit. It is a favored ingredient for wine among the Anrasha. In its normal form, it only has a slight magical aura to it mostly providing a light blue glow to the dark purple melon-shaped fruit.
Anrashan Arcofruit
The Arcofruit is a result of the unique plant life of Etrisium these fruits grow underwater and there are vineyards that are submerged similar to rice paddies that grow nothing but this fruit. It is a favored wine among the Anrasha. With proper preparation they can be made into a dangerous and addictive potion that can be used to restore a mages spells per day however it weakens the mage considerably once it wears off. The wine is 1gp per bottle and easily available within Etrisium and less so outside of Anrashan controlled areas.
Arcofruit potion:
Once drunk fully restores the mages abilities, spells, and class features for 1 hour. After that, the user must make a will(wisdom) save or become addicted and suffer withdrawal. The save starts at 20 and goes up by 2 every time the potion is taken. Regardless if the save is made or not the mage will be unable to use any class features for the remainder of the day and will be considered exhausted until they get a full restful sleep, there is no other way to counteract this. This potion is highly monitored and costs about 10,000 gold on the black market otherwise can only be given by special order of a high ranking Anrasha in the mage guild.
