Mol'Amoroth

The capital city of the Anrasha Mol'Amoroth is unique in that it is a major settlement for the Anrasha but inland where most live on the coast nearer to the water. Much of the city is built vertically connected and supported by elaborate stonework disguised into repeating or infinite patterns when observed. The Lowest part of the city is reserved mostly for slaves and the production facilities of the city. Markets for the common people exist at the base of the noble spires which have markets in the various support structures built between the large spires of the city. The Palace of the Witch-King stretches from the lower city to the highest spire of the city, it also includes the library the Anrasha keep said to contain the most complete collection of history outside of Xoln.

Demographics

The population of the city is over 95% Anrashan, with a few guests allowed within the city under the protection of a lord or other powerful figure. While the Anrasha are outnumbered by the slaves of the city, the Anrasha do not count them as a population.

Government

Mol'Amoroth like the rest of the Anrashan Empire is ruled over by the Witch-King and the Witch-Council who act as the executors of the Witch-King.

Defences

Many of the defenses of the city remain artfully disguised unless in use. The spires bristle with siege weaponry and archer positions, the lower city packed with slaves for fodder and beasts of war. Magical defenses built into the very elaborate patterns of the city can activate on the whim of those tasked with defending it.

Industry & Trade

Most of the trade done by the city is supplying wine and Arcofruit to other cities, but metalworking and magecraft are also a specialty of the city. Slave-run farms produce wheat and other food for the Anrasha.   In the production facilities, most of the work is done by slaves turning raw goods into something useable. From there, slaves can produce lesser quality items for ordinary citizens, or the materials are sent to Anrashan master crafters who can produce the nobility.

Guilds and Factions

The Mages guild and more recently the Adventurer's Guild has a small presence within Mol'Amoroth. The Adventurer's guild largely providing protection and muscle for the mages there but usually only the more nefarious members of the guild are sent there where they seem to excel.

Tourism

Within the Anrasha Mol'Amoroth is a common destination to visit it is where one can acquire the finest of garb, rare meat, wine, and rub elbows with the most powerful of Anrashan society.   For anyone else to venture into the heart of the Anrasha society is not something done lightly, most only arrive there as a slave.

Architecture

Anrashan architecture is influenced by infinite patterns similar to Celtic designs and waves, when a structure requires support they often employ a form of buttress that is made to look like crashing waves. Most Anrashan cities are made from stone having learned long ago that wood is far too easy to destroy during the numerous conflicts with themselves and others.   Water features are prominent in any Anrashan city, the ones in Mol'Amoroth are brought up from an underground reservoir that feeds into canals around the city in interconnected infinity patterns.

Geography

The land around Mol'Amoroth is largely flat with gently rolling hills and some forests. Much of the area around Mol'Amoroth is like a Crystal Garden saturated with Arcane energy but not to the point of total crystallization, this does lead to the unique produce of the Anrasha Arcofruit. Producing Arcofruit is a large industry to the Anrasha and many families manage vineyards in the shadow of Mol'Amoroth.
