Isle of Prophecy

A sacred site forbidden to all but the high priesthood, it is said that Lord Meean himself once walked on this small island, when he granted the knowledge of writing to humanoids of all races. The island itself is set within the confines of the Gods' Mirror Imperial Park, and is the site of a beautiful temple to the god of knowledge which features on many a post card.  Access is heavily restricted, and penalties for trespassing are harsh, but still some fools try it every year. Their memorial stones are erected in a small but prominently placed graveyard to the east of Meean's Rest, where all who see them may be reminded of the folly of attempting to set foot where the gods have walked. At least without temple permission.
