Shrine of the Blessed Trees
This small shrine is built into the side of a grassy hill, surrounded by a large grove of towering blue oaks and goodfruit trees. Small abstract elven statues stand guard at either side of the marble arch at the front of the structure. Stairs lead down into the hillside, and in better times the sound of tinkling water would be audible coming from inside.
These are not better times, though. Gremlins have taken up residence in the shrine, vandalizing the statues, smearing blood and feces on the walls and floor, and befouling the spring that feeds the fountain at the heart of the shrine. They are led by Bigboss Sulbrug, an exceptionally large Nuglub gremlin, who has brought his band here to revel in their despoiling of the shrine and use it as a base to prey on the nearby human town. The only thing keeping the shrine from truly beginning to fall apart is the Ampano'thea living within it.
