Geren is the first
Scion of
Thōsh, god of Nature.
At
Threrdsul, Geren was a botanical bioengineer. He's always happier, even joyous, when he is out in the wilderness. In fact, being inside man-made structures is anxiety inducing. So he will avoid buildings and the like as much as possible. His labratory at Threrdsul was a large atrium populated with plant life he had specifically chosen, to help ease his anxiousness.
Physical Description
Geren is able to cause plants to grow at a highly accelerated rate, controlling their direction and type of growth.
Geren's cloak and other armor are made from a plant leaf that he was developing and was able to retrieve from the lab. He has been unable to grow the plant widely outside the lab, so his is the only armor made from it. It is stronger than the
aikital made in the
Principality of Rotai and more comfortable than
Elfish Cloth.
Geren's staff was granted to him by
Thōsh. It is made of ash wood and is 1.85m long. It is able to help focus and amplify Geren's own abilities. In addition, in can turn into a vine, either loose or attached to a surface, that can be up to 30m long; other features?
History
Geren and Thōsh are like peas in a pod. Geren does everything he can to protect nature and keep it working "as designed." Thōsh made that design and so is happy to have a representative who is so aligned with his desires. That said, Geren is just another human, albeit one with greater than normal powers. So while he respects his Scion, Thōsh really isn't too concerned with him on a daily basis.
History
Drin and Geren met at Threrdsul, where they were both botanical bioengineers. They quickly formed a lasting friendship which was on the verge of blossoming into a romantic relationship when the Great Plague struck. They were separated and never had the chance to allow that aspect of their relationship to grow.
