Ojox

An ojox /ɔˈdʒox/ Dwarfish (Ijoeoxi) is the chief of a dwarfish clan. There are no set rules for who can become an ojox; each clan has their own rules of succession.

Qualifications

The qualifications for an ojox will vary by clan.

Duties

The one duty that all aojox must perform is to represent the clan at the Vionom, which generally happens yearly.

Responsibilities

The ojox of a clan is the executive officer of the clan. They take responsibility for the clan itself and represent the clan to those outside the clan. How these duties are implemented vary by clan, ranging from sole responsibility to being able to delegate duties to being a figure head with clan elders making all the decisions and selecting ambassadors, with many options in between.
