Thyra Lastoll

Thyra is head of security at Madame Veehn's Circus. A few other Kindred, skilled in weapons, work under her or are performers who double as guards when the group is travelling. The rest of the security detail, which totals a dozen or so, are made up of hired mercenaries. Thyra is in charge of hiring, firing and keeping the mercenaries in line. She is also in charge of administering punishment within the Circus family, though it is rarely necessary.
She wields a notched shortsword and carries a stunning green shield. The shield looks like no other anyone observing it has ever seen. Aside from the heads of two bolts which pass through to secure the strap in back, the front bears no markings or insignia. A multitude of shades and hues of green seem to continuously ripple across it, however. When asked what the notches in her shortsword signify, Thyra smiles, chuckling and replies, "Maybe someday you'll find out." When asked about her exquisite shield, she will only say that somewhere in the world a dragon she once met is particularly sensitive to the cold on it's left buttcheek.
