Glasgow Necropolis - Sabbat Hive

Public Knowledge - Victorian Landmark

The Glasgow Necropolis is a cemetery originating from the 1830's. With approximately 3,500 monutes and 37 acres with its borders, it is a large semetery. The place has been described as "literally a city of the dead". The Necropolis is placed on a low, but easily indetifiable hill, east of St. Mungo's Cathedral

Insider Knowledge - Cainite Hive

Unbeknownst to most mortals, the Necropolis houses secret manholes and stone doorways that may be pushed aside to reveal undergrund structures. Most of these structures have been made by vampiric hands - or are the result of caved in mausoleums. This graveyard labyrinth functions as the meeting area for most of the Sabbat of Glasgow, and was also the place where the Alabaster Throne - the ancient relic where the Archbishop of Glasgow would precide. Sadly this artefact has been lost. Through secret tunnels and hidden underground walkways, the Necropolis is connected to Coatbridge Freight Terminal, allowing the newly arived Sabbat members to sneak into the city unbeknownst, and to have a central meeting point until such a point as they establish themselves, their packs and conquer domain. A small pack, The Dahmers, manages the necropolis for the good of all.

Mechanics
  • Cainites in good standing with the Sabbat (those who are not actively shunned or suspect in status), may use the undergrund necropolis as a temporary haven. If using this for more than 1 downtime period, political debts may have to be paid.
  • The area has a few mourners and the rare corpse, functioning as a Chasé 1 for the truly desperate. Sabbat vampires are instructed not to "shit where you eat" which is code for "don't hunt here."
  • Significant measures have been taken to hide the keys to power of this domain, and as such they are not public.
