Floor length jewel toned ball gowns with intricately embroidered trim and fitting off-the-shoulder long-sleeved bodice. Adorned with gold jewelry inlayed with the clearest and most expensive of gemstones. She wares knee-high leather high-heeled boots below her skirts, a fact that drives her stylists mad.Voice
"Empress Vasari speaks with clarity and command, there is no doubt in the minds of anyone who converses with her just who is in charge."Dea is known to be to short and to the point when it comes to official matters, and not much different in her every day manner. Habits
Dea adheres to a routine as often as she can. In the morning she has breakfast with her family, practices on one or both of her instruments and reads for an hour each, and then heads to her office until lunch. After lunch which she once again tries to have with her family, she heads to court until evening, a two hour meeting with the council follows, and then she returns to her family for dinner and to play with her daughter for an hour before she sends her to bed. From that point is quality time spent with her husband until they both retire for the evening.Desires
Her greatest desire is to have more time for her family and to do things with her family that others do with theirs. She doesn't envy anyone the freedom to live as they wish but she does envy the time they have to spend with those they choose. Something she has been trying to work on in herself but has struggled with immensely. In matters of state she desires to extend the prosperity of the empire, even beyond the shores of Arepax. Something she keeps mostly close to her chest until she has made, secretly, the progress she deems necessary to attempt that goal.Traumas
Dea was kidnapped as a young child by some men from the Vask District of the city, they wanted to ransom her for a better living for their families. She was old enough to remember how they tried not to hurt her and promised her she could go home when they were paid, that one of the men had a daughter her age. She was also old enough to remember them being found, arrested and then executed for their crimes while the man who took care of her's family of five children and his pregnant wife watched crying in the crowd. That was when she decided to try and help better the lives of all of her people.Triggers

She herself tries hard to limit herself to high society and polite society humor when in public but has been known to use double-entendre and crude humor often when in the presence of those closest to herself.Regrets

Dea keeps her desire to expand the influence of Ronao to herself, as well as her wish that she had the freedom to take her family on trips on a whim and spend weeks exploring the empire with no business to attend to. Her true priorities are also a secret as she knows none can know that she would put her family before the empire if given the choice.Fears
She fears the looming war with Kherith, not because she believes that the empire would lose but because she fears the threat to the stability of the nation. She fears her family growing resentful and bitter due to the time and effort the empire requires from her, and she fears missing most of her children's lives to duty.Preferences

The home of the empress is a sight to behold, I must admit to being intimidated the first time I laid eyes on the Keep.
