Redwood Market

This bustling marketplace spreads out across balconies and footbridges, starting a dozen floors over H. Kanzaki Street in Japantown. Cousine from all over the world, but south-east Asia in particular, can be found at the many stalls here. Or, at least, some imitation of that food. Dozens upon dozens of vendors sell everything from trinkets to firearms to trinkets-that-work-as-firearms.   Walking the Redwood market is an assault on the senses. It depends on the individual if this is a good or a bad thing. The noises of the crowds mix with the bright colors on various signs and a smell that combines not-quite-yakitori with Doohan's 4-Eddie Burgers. Whatever your taste, it can be disappointed in multiple ways at the Redwood Market!

Tourism

This is probably the biggest allure of Redwood. There is a lot of advertising for it any every tourist-heavy part of Night City, promising to be where "Asia meets the World in Night City." Even supposedly independent travel guides suggest a visit and often paraphrase the slogan.   It's unclear who funds this advertising since the owners of the buildings where the market is could probably combensate with higher rent for tennants if the noise of the market went away. Unless they have a reason to encourage the cacophony.
