Jekralon
Jekralonic: Annarn meo Jekralon /anːartn̥ mɛɔː jɛːkhralɔːn/
Archaic: Jekaraln /jɛːkharaln/
Jekralon was a country in what is now southeastern Amþax and eastern Maralon Steppe in southwestern Jælondis, of which only the rump state of East Jekralon remains since the end of the Fell Wars some forty years ago. It was bordered by Zynþraka beyond the river Abþa to the north, Imúría to the west, Berekría to the southwest, Þagralía to the southeast and Hynra to the northeast.
For most of its history, Jekralon's capital was the city of Lárk to the west, centered around a sacred apple grove which the local Jekrals believed to be the oldest in the world, planted by the gods themselves. As with many such groves in maralonean human cultures, the cider produced there was an important component for major jekral rituals, who consider its loss a great tragedy.

Infrastructure
Jekralon was divided into three provinces, namely Tamúx-Jekar to the west, Pon-Jekar along the river Abþa to the north, and Krúln-Jekar to the east. Modern East Jekralon covers what was once the eastern edge of the lattermost province.
