Mt. Eqel
Mt. Eqel /ɛːqɛl/ is the highest point of the Qug Mountains in central Jælondis and that of Borgalor in general, and one of (if not the) most sacred places of the various dwarven cultures native to the region. It's a common theme in dwarven art due to it forming a near-perfect pyramid1, and remains one of the few places in the Qug Mountains that has never been modified by them in any way, as the mountain and surrounding area are believed to be abode of the gods.
Dwarven myths about Mt. Eqel are numerous and often contradict each other, in some traditions it was the first thing which the gods created and all other mountains are mere imitations, while others believe the peak to have been the last thing created before the gods retreated from the world and other mountains are the results of each deity's previous attempt at creating a home fit for the whole pantheon.
