Celestia

Celestia is a gentle goddess, watching over the material plane as a million stars, and illuminating the moon at night so the mortals don't loose their way in the darkness of the night. She guides those who are lost, literally or figuratively, and protects the material plane from dark forces that threaten the peace. She is a goddess of peace, rest and hope, as well as following one's intuition. Her followers are usually very spiritiual, the more devout are known to have prayers that can last for days.

The birth of a goddess

Following the birth of Cressida and banishment of Elara, the celestial courts were in a fragile place. The tension was at an all time high, and there were whispers of a second civil war. The first had cost Oberon, a god, his life to end - what would a second take? Seeing this, Helia, took a piece of the sun and molded it into a baby. She named this baby "Celestia", as her purpose was to unify all Celestials.

Appearance and symbolism

Celestia is usually depicted as a fairly stereotypical celestial, with white wings and  simple clothing, though set apart by her crown and her star amulet.
Her symbol is a star.
Her associated dragons are the Crystal Dragons.
