King Duncan Sildred
King Duncan Sildred is the current king of Castium and has been for twenty six years. A relatively average king and a poor military commander but is loved by the people of Castium. Unpopular with some nobles for a number of reasons Duncan has had to deal with many problems since becoming king. Namely an influx of immigrants from Xastile, Ofrye, and Kroyhiel has led to Duncan having to make very difficult and sometimes unpopular policies.
Duncan is married to Queen Anastasia Rosile a woman almost thirty years Duncan's younger. With Anastasia he has two daughters Elizabeth and Maria. Before Anastasia however Duncan was married to Queen Isabel Vilreb whom died of natural causes. The son of Duncan and Isabel is Prince Bethad Sildred. However rumors circulate that Duncan had an incestuous relationship with his sister Anne Sildred, some rumors even going so far as to say Bethad is actually a product of that relationship.
