Trapezoidal Psiludites believe that The Scream was divine punishment for man's overreach. Both through meta dimensional and technological excess. During The Silence, they become the dominant religion on Gnahon-R and have remained so for the past 500 years. As Gnahon-R clawed its way out of the dark ages believers adherence was rarely tested, but now that the planet is reaching its own industrial age and some extremely limited trade has started with other planets in the Gnomabaden system devotions are being tested. The storybook wonders of the distant planets have sparked a fierce debate within the TPL church as to what level of machine is sinful. Ultimately, a splinter group called the Reformed Trapezoidal Technologists decided that the accomplishments of the human mind should be celebrated and only accessing the meta dimensional realm was sinful. The remaining TPL faithful have become even more extreme and radical in their beliefs. The Symbol of their faith, the trapezoid represents the limits God has placed upon humanity. God is represented as the upper point in a triangle, the pinnacle of being, containing the trapezoid of humanity.
