Gnahon-R

Originally a very technologically advanced planet. Their entire society was dependant on Psitech. When the Scream burnt out and killed all the psychics Gnahon-R was affected much more than the other planets in the system. A religious group calling themselves the Trapezoidal Psiludites grew out of that chaos. They believed that the Scream was punishment for becoming too technically advanced and, as the dominant religion, they have really hindered Gnahon-Rs development. As industrialization really started to change the fabric of the cities and crafts the TPL have taken a more hardline stance. There are atheists who are all about getting caught up to the other planets and a splinter order called the Reformed Trapezoidal Luddites that thinks only psychics are bad not tech. There have been lots of rallies and attacks on factories and churches recently. The planetary government must walk a fine line between the opportunity to become relevant in the system at large and keeping peace with the population.
