God

Basic Information

Anatomy

Gods can have massively variable anatomy.

Genetics and Reproduction

Gods can be created in various ways. While new gods are rare, gods are capable of procreating, raising mortals to godhood, creation by Quine, The Creator, and in rare cases can simply spawn into being.

Quine

Quine, the first creature to exist, has the unique ability to create gods at will. This is the method by which most of the major gods were created, including Pelle, God of Death, Aeris, The Goddess of Nature, and Nevin, God of Peace.

Procreation

Gods with reproductive organs are capable of reproducing with other gods or mortals. The children of two gods are known as Secondary Gods, gods that weren't created by Quine. The children of a god and a mortal are Demigods

Raising

Mortals can become gods by being raised to godhood by Quine. This is a very rare process, but is the one that gave way to the only major god that wasn't created by Quine, Huan Pin Yan, God of Time and Dreams.

Spawning

The rarest form of god creation is when mortals believe so deeply in a god that doesn't exist that it spawns into existence.

Ecology and Habitats

Greater gods, including the 10 main gods, have access to the Aurora, the dimension of the gods. Aurora exists outside of spacetime, allowing for each god to create their ideal space.    All gods, including lesser gods, have access to the mortal world and tend to live in areas that correspond with their domains. For example, Calyn, The God of the Sea resides in the ocean, whereas Aeris, The Goddess of Nature resides in places where nature flourishes.

Biological Cycle

Death

Gods are generally immortal, but can die in certain circumstances. The power of a god is directly proportional to the amount of worship. The more worshipers a god has the stronger they become, and conversely the fewer the weaker. When gods run out of they become mortal, and thus gain the ability to die. Should they regain worshipers before they naturally die as a mortal, they regain their immortality as long as that worship continues.   The phenomenon known as "celestial suicide" is the process in which a god intentionally loses followers (often by being cruel, or not responding to prayers) to become mortal and die naturally.
