Xhuuwei Yuwang (a.k.a. Huan Pin Yan)
Huan Pin Yan, otherwise known as Xhuuwei, can take many forms, but all have similarities. The body of any form he takes apears to be made from a black, smoke like substance, and all wear a fox mask.
Huan Pin Yan was banished to
The Ice Palace in 614, which can only appear in the physical realm in places in which it is snowing. He was banished following an argument with
Onir, The Creator in regards to his ascension, saying he shouldn't have been ascended. Onir saw this as him being ungrateful.
Time
He can control the ebb and flow of time. He can speed it up and slow it down, but not fully stop it. He can rewind time. Creatures never realize that time has been shifted. He inherited this domain from Uohr, who died shortly after he was ascended.
Dreams
He grants and controls dreams in mortals. He is responsible for most prophetic dreams/visions.
Physical Description
He wears a hand painted porcelain fox mask. His body is made of black smoke.
He has the ability to change the flow of time, but not stop it completely. He can slow the flow to the point that it's seemingly stopped. People who are affected by this have no idea that the flow of time has changed. He inherited this domain from Uohr.
He can control the dreams of mortals.
He always wears a gold key around his neck.
Mental characteristics
He was born as a human in a small farming village, and raised as a hunter. When he was 29, after several years of bad harvest and hunt leading to his village starving, he gathered a group of fellow hunters to parley with the gods in hope that they'd show them mercy. The gods did not, and he was killed in a battle against Heres. Quine, respecting his resolve, decided to ascend him to godhood.
He was uneducated as a human, and has learned a lot since becoming a god. While his knowledge overshadows that of any mortal alive today, he is considered uneducated by the other gods.
As a human he was a hunter/warrior.
He failed to convince the gods to show mercy to his village, which was abandoned soon after his death-- the residents searching for a place where they wouldn't surely starve.
He tries his best to do right by mortals, but after being a god for so long his idea of helping has become very different from mortals. He tries to do the right thing, but in this day and age his actions are considered wrong.
Personality Characteristics
He wishes to do right by mortals, and give them the mercy he was refused.
The morality of his time and the morality of modern day are so far removed from one another he can barely understand current mortal motivations.
