Pfunnschkongongchsüngchs (/pfʊnʃkoŋɔŋkˈsʏŋks/)

Magic-knowledge, or more commonly, Runelore
(pronounced phonetically as foonch-kung-ong-shunks)

History

Dwarfs are among the oldest species said to have walked Caanae after the Time of Titans. It was their observation and conflicts with the Giants that led to their discovery of Runelore. With that learning and new understanding, their ancient traditions of Ring Wardens and Runelords began. The runes differ from the Giant form, taking shape from the Dwarvish language rather than the Giant language.

Execution

Ring Wardens are students of the Runelore, who place rings of metal on themselves and their items with runes etched on the rings storing magic for use later. How many rings denotes the power of the Ring Warden, and by extension their respect and influence within dwarvish communities. Runelords are the equivalent of Rune Knights in the Giant form of Runelore, fighters who utilize the Dwarvish runes to evoke powerful effects on the battlefield.

Components and tools
