Outcome
Thousands were displaced within the Wild Lands and had to move into the core of Scorland.
Aftermath
Previously, Scorland was a loose coalition of human clans, who would often fight amongst themselves. With this conflict however, they solidified their union under a king, in order to better face the threat of Umenor.
Historical Significance
Legacy
Several significant political prisoners from Umenor remain under the watchful eye of the Lairds within Scorland, the threat of their deaths keeping the legions at bay, and stoking a fire of resentment and thirst for vengeance in Umenor.
In Literature
The Ballad of Sigran - A tragic poem composed in Scorland recounting the heroics of Sigran, who is said to have performed many great feats of strength and cunning in battle against the legions before falling after holding off an entire century of hobgoblins single-handedly
