Raised on Arsuba, he grew up learning how to farm from his parents. He also learned to fight from his father. While his parents were pushing to marry another girl, his heart was set on Theodora Prescott.
He was so worried about her when she was abducted that he refused to eat and got sick. When she came back, she was a bit skittish with him, but he brushed this off as her getting over what had happened to her.
He survived the plague of Arsuba along with Theodora. Together they settled in Wellspring until the plague struck again.
He led the survivors to Falcon's Nest where they found wonders they'd never seen before and where he and the other died.
