Oraulcli

The Oraulcli family came into power by the appointment of the Order of Objective Representation following the restructuring of the Empire.

Structure

While Sovereign Jaimus Oraulicli II has shown himself to be a resolute leader, he has also shown very little interest in securing a wife and furthering the current line of Sovereigns. He is the only remaining member of the family line following the untimely death of his Father, Sovereign, Jaimus Oraulicli I and his mother, the Prima Consort, Sarah Oraulicli.

History

The family had been prominent for many years, and during the War of Human Attrition, they had opted to stay out of the fighting as much as they could, instead using their own wealth and assets as a means of providing care and supplies to those in need, at tremendous cost to themselves. Most of their fortunes were lost during the war as a result of this, but the people remembered, and more importantly, remembered that they had remained a level and neutral force focused on the preservation of life and culture above any attempts to grab for power. In the interim, a ruler that never wanted to be one, but that would take the responsibility as a cause for the greater good seemed to be the best choice in the numerous meetings held by the Order during the restructuring. Jaimus Oraulcli took the title, grudgingly, fearing for the safety of his wife but intent upon lifting up the Becht people from the ashes of their shame and showing the world that they were greater than the sum of their past misfortunes.
