Prima Consort

The honorary title of the wife or husband of the Sovereign currently in power.

Qualifications

This is a title gained through marriage to a Sovereign.

Cultural Significance

While the Prima Consort holds no real political power, they are well respected and more often than not, the Sovereign's most trusted advisor. They are notably and traditionally involved in the day to day civil functions of their people, using their influence to life up various points of concern often overlooked by the higher functioning political bodies. Unlike many, this position is a respected one, and the Order of Objective Representation and the Sovereign themselves take this work very seriously as a rule. To not do so would draw a great deal of negative response from the people.
