Garmr Legion (Garm Lee-jon)
The Garmr Legion is a well-known section of the Clan Bjorn army stationed along the Ískaltspjót Vegg, the Ice-Spear Wall mountain range, that makes up the northern border of their territory and separates them from the frost troll lands of Troldheim. They are known for their courage and fortitude amid some of the harshest conditions in the north as well as their ability to fend off assaults from the massive frost trolls that attempt to cross in to Bjorn territory. In terms of military might they are exceptional. In terms of defense they are seen as the epitome.
They are stretched across the range between several forts that have been built in to the mountains, but all report back to their massive fortress known as Hel's Gate where Vieno Coldheart commands their troops, the only jarl with no formal city as their home.

Structure
As a military organization, the Legion is lead exclusively by military leaders. Family of the soldiers can live within the walls of their fortress but most live in towns to the south, heavily barricaded from the cold and acting as supply outposts and medical centers for wounded warriors.
Culture
Everyone in the Legion must work together to survive. That is one of the most important rules of the Legion. If one cannot be trusted, they do not belong. None there care about race, gender, or origin. Those who live along the Spear Wall are at constant war and cannot permit weaknesses such as bias, intolerance, and distrust.
Public Agenda
The core agenda of the Legion is to push back the forces of Troldheim in order to keep the rest of the region safe.
History
The Legion was formed after the first great invasion of frost trolls a number of generations ago. Since then the Legion has been a staple to Clan Bjorn's defense and their military might. They are seen as the elite defenders of the Bjorn army even among their shieldmaidens.
