The wood elves saw the error in the Velari's pursuit of technology and decided to stay in sync with nature, they stayed in the home of the Velari but most of their buildings and wonders have been torn down since, some ruins do exist, spread around the forest.

The High elves just as their parent race age to around 30 where from they only begin to age once they hit the 200 mark, high elves can live to around the 450 mark but some have lived longer.
