Daiyu Zhi Fang (Die-yuu Shii Fhang)
Daiyu is the First Wife to Anshumat, the Western Dragonlord, and acts as the Ambassador to the Divine Horde and the Mistress of Treasure to the Western Chapter. A native to Shaojing, Anshumat's rapid expansion of his land eventually swallowed up Shaojing's continent which was previously owned by the Southern Dragonlord. Having resided in the continent's capital, Quanzhou, Daiyu had become the leader to a rebellion group that attempted to oust Anshumat's forces from their lands, having been loyal to the Southern Dragonlord. Despite her strength and the resolve of the army she led, Anshumat's forces defeated them and claimed the continent of Shaojing for the Western Dragonlord.
However, Anshumat had been so impressed with her skill in battle and tenacity that he did not execute Daiyu nor claim her as a slave, but instead took her as his wife. At first Daiyu was rebellious, unruly and did everything she could to wane Anshumat's interest in her, eventually her time spent with him allowed her to learn about him, and grow to understand him, and even come to love him. While she does not like the circumstances of their marriage she has come to accept it, knowing that it is best for her people - the people of Shaojing - if she is able to earn Anshumat's trust and offer advice to their betterment.
Daiyu comes across as a motherly, gentle woman who is polite, formal and reserved. Those she calls friends see her as a radiant, elegant woman that laughs often and shows an optimistic attitude. Despite this, Daiyu is a talented warrior and athlete, and is considered Shaojing's greatest hero figure. She fights using her blinding speed and enormous glaive, called Xia, to cut her enemies in two.
