Amelie Adolphus
Oracle for the Manten’Liche King.
Worshipper of the The Enduring Oracle, and has a specialty with dream/nightmare magic. on her relationship Amelie has said, "The Enduring Oracle has chosen the woman in my family to guide those in this plane along their path and to observe key points and events. My path was always before but it was not till I was a young one that a ritual within our holy site awakened my abilities within dreams. I hope to leave this place in order to continue my work to serve fate and my people."
Amelie was stuck in the Cursed Compass with the lich until the Wardens freed both of them. While Amelie thinks she has only been in the mental prison for 6 months Myra later reveals that she has been in the compass for years by discovering and telling her the ages of her children.
Amelie admits to working with Slekul and explains to Myra that her group believes that magic is given for a reason and is neutral in it's execution. She comments that she was 'investigating the intentions' of those she traveled with and the general sentiments of where her daughters grew up. She said that some of the things that she had witnessed both here and before had confirmed some of her nightmares.
Myra asks how she could serve either of them given the things she's heard and seen. Amelie replies that it was never about the men, that it was only ever about the crown.
Amelie reveals during her time with the Wardens that she has two daughters, Clauderesa or Melodia, which Myra pieces together are Claudia Adolphus and Ryla. Amelie is distraught when she learns of her daughters fates but Myra comments that perhaps it is not too late to save them.
The group later sees a memory of the burning of Adama's family where it looks like Amelie was involved though it is unclear her exact role. When they exit the memory Myra asks Amelie why she did it and Amelie looks broken as she says it was always only for her. Myra takes this to mean her daughter from their previous conversations.
The group is unsure if Amelie will be able to return to the mortal world as she admits to having been at Vlypeum previously and the Wardens are unsure if one would be able to return without a living body.
Before they part Myra crafts and hands Amelie a coin with the wardens symbol on one side and a dragon on the other. She jokingly comments that she's not sure if the coin will make it out or how good of an idea it is as she knows that they are currently interacting as souls. She hands over the coin commenting that she owes Amelie a debt and Amelie promises her one in kind regretting that she wasn't able to help more with Myra's nightmares. They embrace before Amelie leaves the group and the compass.
