Making Port - Lion's Crest

General Summary

The wardens, their newly hired crew, and Yamil, arrive aboard the Divine Reach ready to set-sail from Beater's Point to continue their journey in Lion's Crest.

All Aboard

As the crew gather's aboard Reach and Hagren introduces Reach to the newest members they explain the crew should have access to all but the lowest floors of the ship. Random Factorial immediately goes off to start researching the engine as the rest of the crew starts to get acquainted. Reach suggests giving a tour of the boat having taken the time we used for repairs to also take into consideration some of Hagren's requests. Reach now has additional rooms for the crew as well as a new suite of shared rooms as Hagren requested including a kitchen, dining room, sitting room, and library. Additionally the rooms of the Warden's have been updated to reflect their inhabitants and Reach has added additional security to the bottom floor. Everyone is impressed by the updates though both Myra and Hagren note that there are some pieces unfinished that Reach comments they would need additional supplies for.
As the Warden's set off for Lion's crest Myra approaches Mako about the wounds but he says that it looks like she will need to continue healing naturally. Myra also finds Yamil as he's looking through the new library at 'History of the World'. Myra asks him about the rifts that he mentioned on The Alabaster Gale while they were in the Beholden. Yamil mentioned that he had heard of more an more reports even seeing one himself in The Carrefour at the market. He said that he was thankful that no one was seriously hurt but now there are reports of them in norther Vratoth, Kolis-Tane, and Timeston.
Myra thanks Yamil for the information and asks if he will stay with us through the vacation or if he'll be headed up to the abbey sooner, commenting that she feels bad about delaying him. Yamil responds that he's had a change of plans, he recently heard from a friend in need of assistance in Timeston and feels an obligation to go help them. Myra is concerned for his friend asking him how he heard that and Yamil taps his head saying he received word. Myra asks if he needs assistance especially with the recent report that the Manten’Liche Army is blockading the town. Yamil says he doesn't wish to burden us with this saying that it is an old friend, "someone who I helped out grew attached to me. The seem to be in the middle of the kerfuffle." Myra suggest that we could have interests in line and could provide assistance but Yamil insists it would be much easier to get in and out without being noticed as one person. He also insinuates that the group is less than stealthy. Adama suggests that we could make an excellent distraction and Yamil thanks him and says that he appreciates the sentiment but he will let Adama know if our help is needed, concluding the thought mentally to Adama suggesting he has some version of message or sending.

Meditations

Meanwhile as the group confers with Yamil, Raijun has been meditating. As he meditates he comes upon the location of the last job he did with The Immortals seeing Noelle sitting on one of the rooves kicking her feet. "It's beautiful isn't it?" She asks, "This is how I like to remember it." As the memory shifts to her and a younger Raijun booping him on the nose with a chicken bone.
As Raijun looks back at Noelle she's now wearing the porcelain mask of the raven queen, "I don't want to scare you but I'm going to be leaving you for a bit." Raijun says he's been expecting that. "They will always be a part of you. Her guidance will stay with you." As Noelle talks a river of the souls freed at Vlypeum extending off into the distance. She gestures to them, "You have freed so many, part of the path for the next part is through finding inner strength. You must grow. For the actions you must take next the world needs you to be strong. She knew saving you would affect lives. Still there are things ahead." Raijun sees flashes of images: the steps up to a monastery in the mountains - no stars in the sky - imposing figures taking the starlight and eating it - a path of destruction - the Wardens fighting - a garden surrounded by headstones a large tree sitting in the center as petals fall. The immortals all stand there, "we'll always have your back. Find those who lost their way and they will help you find yours." Raijun goes to hug them thinking that he will pass through, but surprisingly they are warm and whole. 
Raijun's last comment as they fade, "I'm going to be exactly as you expect me to be." 

Lion's crest

The rest of the journey goes uneventfully as the group makes it to Lion's Crest in 3 days. Yamil says he'll be in town a night or two but then will have to take off suggesting they all grab dinner before he departs. The group agrees and mentions they will be by the community center later heading in for some shopping.
As the group makes their way into Lion's Crest it seems their notoriety has increased with several people lauding their arrival. The city itself seems to be setting up for a celebration. The group makes their way to The Invincible Unicorn where the find it's proprietor, Fluke, in a distressing state of being a teddy bear instead of his normal mannequin self. He explains that he was offered a good price for his old body but this one leaves a lot to be desired as he cannot move of enchant. As Adama starts questioning on spells and what he might have in stock Myra goes to a haberdasher down the street, 'the Wonderful World of Hats' run by Felix, where she noticed a mannequin. She offers to buy the mannequin returning shortly thereafter with a hat for Raijun and Sarya and a new body for Fluke.    
Fluke has apprehensions about letting the group move the hat over but Myra promises him that she'll do it immediately and he relents hoping to get back to a more functional body. Myra moves over the magical hat but discovery the new mannequin is stiffer than the old one. She drags Fluke into the back of the shop with him yelling for help that he was being robbed or kidnapped. After a moment of Myra working on him he realizes that she's giving him more articulation and stops yelling. Adama proceeds to buy a number of spells that Fluke has and the group clears out most of his potion supply including:

• 2 standard healing
• 2 greater healing
• 1 superior healing
• 1 potion of speed
• 1 potion of fire breath

Fluke comments that he's out of most of the rest of his wares due to the closing of the Beholden but he's optimistic that that may be re-opening again allowing him more access to supplies. The group also sells the bracers of defense putting the remainder of the money received for them towards the ship fund. Myra asks if fluke would be willing to buy the cursed armor but he says he'd rather not get near cursed items. 
Having completed some of the shopping Raijun suggests they go to visit the Temple of Eilistraee so he can show Myra and Sarya the work he's done there. As they approach the temple of the free moon and Raijun identifies himself to one of the priests in the dark purple robes of Eilistraee they mention that the Grand dancer would like to meet him. The lead him to an older drow woman who says, "Ah - I have been waiting. Your training starts now."
