Taisunian Mining Accords

After the enormous amount of vitraxine was discovered in southern Slovengaard, the unparalleled magical advancements were readily apparent. Previously, vitraxine ore was rare with unearthed locations only producing a few pounds of raw vitraxine. This mine was tens of times larger than all vitraxine that had previously been uncovered. Unfortunately, this mine also spread across three states on the continent. Even more concerning is that while the initial finding was by Slovian miners, the vast majority of the vitraxine was in the northern edge of Dakshinaatl.   Skirmishes started to break out between the two countries, and when Mourianji realized that a small portion of the mine fell in their borders also attempted to make claim. There was also rumor that the western countries were amassing armies to attempt to lay seige before the advancements raised by the vitraxine left them behind, though it was never corroborated. In a rare occurence of prescience, the leaders of Taisunia realized this mass resource would be severely, if not completely, depleted by a war over its existence. To avoid war, the leaders met to set up a continental government with the leaders making up the Tiasunian Council as well as the leader of a newly formed city-state capital, Taisun. The need for a new state was to ensure that the vitraxine mine, and any others that would be found in the future, were not on land that belonged to any one existing state who could control the land.   This document creates the new state of Taisun, defines the Taisunian Council, lays out the provisions for each government to join Taisunia, and defines the parameters in which vitraxine will be distributed.
