Trick Or Teeth
General Summary
The party arrived at the mausoleum that housed the Library of Mora. Inside, they found Trazden speaking with a hooded figure about the rules of entering the library. After completing his conversation, he spoke with Stela about their unique vision and its origin. He reasoned that while their loss of vision could have helped trigger their latent power, it is likely the ability rested in their divine origin. Stela then informed the party that they would not be joining them down in the library as they need to speak with Kano through prayer about changing their spells to better prepare for the shivering cold of Slovengaard.
Down a member, the party were discussing the potential of finding a mercenary to join them when the hooded figure approached and offered to join them as they too were going to trek the depths below. Fizzik mentioned that while they were a surgeon by trade, their adventures had led them to focus more on combat. Still, their craft could heal the party. Agreeing to join up, Trazden gave the party four keys: a tarnished silver key to unlock Fizzik's goal, a pine-scented silverwood key to open the reincarnation ritual, an ironwrought key, and a golden key to unlock the resurrection ritual.
Keys in hand, the party delved down into the musty depths below the mausoleum. At the foot of the darkened stairwell was a massive stone door that swung open to produce a brightly lit inn in the midst of revelry. The party, slightly confused, approached the bartender and found they were expected to be entertainment. The party made an attempt, but their unpreparedness led to a discordant display that impressed no one. Instead, the hall erupted with the sounds of bones cracking and skin tearing as the denizens transformed into beastly humanoids.
