House of Tests

Ah yes, the House of Tests. One of the biggest mysteries yet unexplained in Cathrea. While its appearance may deceive ones untrained eye as being just a simple house, when entered, a mighty temple emerges. This structure, which story of origin is lost in ancient history, is primarily used for hosting the "A Test of Knowledge"-Ritual.

Where the youth is tested

The House of Tests is the location where A Test of Knowledge is being held. This building is huge. Being one of the only magical things imbued with spacial magic, it looks like a normal sized beautiful temple from the outside, but within lies a stadium, able to support over 400.000 spectators and over 1500 participants.

Of great magicks

It is by far the most impressive building on Cathrea. While its origin is unknown, spectators are able to teleport through sections and can watch whatever part of the test they want at any given time. On the ground, tables full of materials, weaponry, tools, flora and other ressources are supplied to the students engaging in their final tests ranging from Alchemy to Magicsmithing.

Architecture

The inside of the temple is decked out with sturdy dark wood, refined stone pillars and various flags representing the different disciplines in which the students are tested in. Every room, which is only entered and exited through a spacial gate, is customized to fit the current actions performed within.
As an example: Students performing various alchemical tasks might be surrounded with plants and roots growing from the walls as well as smaller insects crawling around.
