Amarantine

Amarantine is seemingly a type of metal crafted in ancient times by some now lost art

Properties

Material Characteristics

The surface of Amarantine is impossibly smooth, not even bugs and lizards can cling to its surface, making it impossible to climb. Likewise dirt, grime or blood doesn't really stick to the substance

Physical & Chemical Properties

The metal is always cool to the touch, it retains no warmth even if put in fire. It is virtually indestructible and is immune to the effects of magic to the point of preventing magic from penetrating itself.

History & Usage

History

The material is thought to have been forged by Roland one of the 12 Magi who was known for crafting many magical and wonderous artifacts

Everyday use

Amarantine is commonly used for weapons and armour. Such pieces are considered priceless heirlooms and handed down from one generation to the next.
One exception is the famous Amarantine Tower a massive fortress made entirely out of Amarantine.
