The Amarantine Tower

The Amarantine Tower is a massive fortress made almost entirely out of Amarantine , making it virtually indestructible and immune to magic, even shielding those within from magical viewing.
The smooth, black metal has the appearance of black marble, but glistens with a deep red, metallic tint in the sunlight.
The tower was built in ages past, some legends say by Roland, one of the 12 Magi.
Amaranth was built up around the fortress when the first Duke of Fremilian took the tower as his seat of power.


Within the tower are many rooms, offices, a grand library, armoury, barracks and even a large storage and dungeon in the basement of the structure.
The tower has been used to lock away many dangerous artefacts or magic beasts, monsters and people over the years, due to Amarantine's magical resistance.


It is simultaneously an impenetrable fortress and an inescapable prison.
