Black Keep

Contrary to popular belief, Black Keep is not made of Amarantine; it is made of a very dense, tough volcanic rock. Despite not being made of Amarantine, the walls and keep are still very tough and the castle has in the past survived a naval assault, withstanding cannon fire with only minimal damage. The Castle is positioned on the cliffs beside Port Mellou and provides excellent coverage of Mellou Bay.
