One of the 12, representing the Dwarven people. Ulric's powers enabled him to alter 'space'. Distance, dimensions, width, height, length... These were all malleable to his powers and he was able to keep all the Magi in communication even when they were separated by thousands of miles.
It is said that he built a large underground labyrinth where the usual laws of physics and logic don't apply in the same way, where passages twist back on themselves or through each other in ways that would make the average person go insane.
