Prelude to the Present: Session 03 - Assassins
General Summary
After returning to the dragonsfall inn, Amdhi looked to the notice board of the inn and ran off, saying something about a "big tent" and "dancing elephants" this drew the rest of the parties attention to the board and how the Whispering Wheel, a caravan that travels from the Irenic Foundation in the east to the most western section of the Commonwealth of Humanity with traders and entertainers in tow, had just arrived in town. The party arrived and found a store selling all sorts of magical items, animal companions and other works.
They spoke to an elf who was in the process of sending a scholar, who was too light on change to purchase anything, away. Through a mishap revolving around rolling around the party accidently used a enchanted mirror, which shows in its reflection the worse parts of a person, a guard who looked into the mirror was terrorised by his feeling of self realisation. Kelbor claimed that to limit the damage of said item he'd need to confiscate said item.
Later Kelbor-Hal purchased a pet hawk called "Keen Eye" from a Halfling beast master. As he was training the bird to follow his commands Beihlur came to a realisation. There were people above him in the alley way 4 rogues dressed in black. Who had been sent by an elf to attack a group of 2 Air Genasi, 1 Aasimar and 1 Warforged. After a few rounds of combat the leader was exposed to the magical mirror, terrifying him. He attempted to run but was bought low by the hammer of Kelbor. Using his medical knowledge the Warforged realised he could heal the bandit leader, who he took back to his library over his shoulder. Meanwhile Flaxia and Beihlur Stovug had made themselves welcome to some magical items of the stall. 1 would be assassin managed to get away.
As the group returned to he inn they saw Amdhi with a grin on his face and a large amount of cotton candy.
