Personal history
Born in the High Forest, Bryn grew up among elves of all kinds. From a young age, however, the elders found that she was far more interested in learning about the world outside the classroom. Nature is her passion and her calling. Many years of her childhood was spent reading of botany and biology underneath the canopy of green. While Bryn spent most of her time alone in the woodland at the foot of the Oxtooth Mountains, her scholarly pursuits came to the attention of Master Durlan, an elf druid who lived a simple life in the wilderness. He selected her to join a new Druidic school in the Neverwinter Forest. Here young druids of all races from all over Faerun could come together and learn the ways of nature.
Ascending to adulthood, Bryn chose the name Bethrynna Siannodel. She excelled academically and aided her mentor in pursuing the deeper mysteries of nature. She did so well that in her 110th year she was selected to be one of the teachers at the school. This gave her the chance to go further and deeper than anyone had ever studied the magical woods.
Master Durlan - ever encouraging - decided to aid in her question: what magical forces govern the order found in nature. He proposed an expedition into the wilds of the Frozen Forest (far to the east). Beth grudgingly agreed to stay behind and run the school. Taking seven of the best pupils, Durlan left never to return.
Now, after two years of no word, Beth abandoned the school and ventured into the filthy town of Neverwinter. Here, it is said, one can join the noble art of adventuring - adventuring brings riches. Maybe one day you'll be able to amass a crew and the required capital (2,000gp) to trek across the Great Desert and the High Ice to reach the Frozen Forest. Maybe then you'll discover the fate of your mentor and your fellow students.Education
