Zoeia Zatchet

Zoeia Zatchet was born into a large family of conscripted men and women. At an early age, she was taught to tend to wounds and to scavage equipment from the battlefield. But she was not happy to just be a nurse or servant moving things from place to place. During one expedition to collect equipment from the battlefield, she found a knight who although wounded was only knocked out during the battle. The battle was short, yet she was able to overcome the wounded knight and kill him in the mud. This caught the eye of one of the knights of the Northern Star Empire, she was soon conscripted to become a page and started training in the arts of warfare.
    Years went by as she became a capable warrior under the training of this knight until one day the lord entered a tournament. After travelling to the Shogunate and winning many of the bouts he was dismounted in the joust. The horrible news was reviled as after falling to the ground he was found dead by a splintered lance. By the code of the tournament, she was included in the winnings. 
    Zoeia now being forced into the employ of an Imperial Elf thought that it was time to make her run for freedom. By chance, she learned of ships traveling to Scylla and knew that this was her best chance. Soon after running away with whatever she was able to take she arrived and boarded a ship to Scylla. With but one glance back at the mainland she knew the new world will be her chance to truly be free.
