CE Adventure 4: Session 1

The Senu II pilgrims make a cautious deal with a newcomer, Barry, to get out of jail. Together they collect some intel from a disgruntled Gurratan, Dosnam, and gather four vaccum suits and the Crosspoint in order to travel to the defunct Orbak He3 rig on the Far Side of Chellok.

The Senu II pilgrims are arrested at the Saebia-Kranath border and taken into custody by Sheriff Vin Borsen of New Lanvia in connection with an ongoing death investigation. They cooperate with the sheriff during questioning, but are not released.

  The pilgrims are surprised and skeptical about an offer of early release from a visitor, Belemir "Barry" Strovalde, who says he can secure their early release if they agree to help him board a defunct He3 rig on the Far Side. Despite a lack of trust, the pilgrims agree to help one another.

Upon leaving the sheriff's office, the four pilgrims distract and confront a sugran who is tailing them. The sugran, Dosnam, is a disgruntled and loose-mouth former employee of Commander Sebo Lommar. He entices the pilgrims with a round of drinks at and an old sugran gambling game, 21, at New Lanvia's less reputable drinking establishment, The Salted Nut. The pilgrims cannot keep up with Dosnam's lightning rolls and intellect and end up losing $3,500 total during the game; however, Dosnam does provide them with the following useful information:

Sebo Lommar wants you all dead and he's willing to pull in a lot of favors to do it, including re-hire me and pay me time and a half to sit out here and stake out your apartments.

Lommar tracked you down last week, didn't he? You wonder how he found you? He has moles inside the Delian military. He knew where you were headed as soon as you passed through the border security. That's also how he found out you are renting a place here in New Lanvia.

But as you can see, he doesn't have his best men posted here. Just me and a partner. He's busy trying to get on Blad's good side again. He's in a rush to retrieve the stranded tanker at the defunct He3 rig right now. Him and every pirate on Chellok.

Tanker is a G-07 MX Tanker. Holds 255,000 cubic meters of LH3. A massive ship.

Current market rate is $30.42/cu m. You do the math. But it's all just sitting there for the first person to fly it into the right port.

You need the location of the rig, a ship to get there, and vacc suits, the lighter the better. Gravity is almost double on the Far Side.

After collecting enough information, the pilgrims head back to their motel rooms and work on a plan of action. They ask Dosnam to spread rumors around New Lanvia in the hopes of luring Sebo Lommar away from the rig. They acquire four vacc suits from Colonel Jivo's requisitions officer (Delian insignia duct-taped over). Fal gains access to the Crosspoint again and begins flying towards the He3 rig with Barry helping on navigation. During the flight, the pilgrims are chased by an unknown pursuer. After evading and gaining elevation, Nama is able to fire upon the enemy with her beam rifle. Fal then drops and rams the enemy ship with the heavy heat shield on the bottom of the Crosspoint, making them back off.
