The Oakleaf
Constructed in the last few years from a real, renovated speakeasy, the Oakleaf is a sophisticated (if expensive) wine bar in Chicago's trendy North Side. It serves fine, rare vintages for the true connoisseur, and more modest bottles for those who simply enjoy the flavor and the experience of wine. Most who come truly do so for the ambiance, and the Oakleaf does not disappoint.
Privately it is also Elysium, one of the secret gathering places of the Kindred.
Architecture
The Oakleaf's main seating area and private rooms occupy the below-ground portion of a Chicago brownstone almost a century old.
