Adran the Second
King of Lysandus Adran Oncett
Adran Oncett is the eighth King of Lysandus who began his reign in the year 5750. He aspired to follow in the footsteps of his forefathers.
History
Adran Oncett was born in the year 1A 5710, to his father Jacob Oncett and his mother Dinese Bourdon. Growing up, he was taught by his mother the ways of chivalry. He became a squire under Wulfric Dragonbane, who taught him the ways of the sword. By the age of 16, Adran graduated into becoming a knight, though he did not join the Knights of Dragonbane. Instead, he became a general in his father's army, joining campaigns with Wulfric Dragonbane to push back the Danen and Orc tribes from the lands of Keller. In the year 5730, he would marry the duchess of Obesfeld, Matilda Snowladen, to strengthen the bond of the Knights of Dragonbane with the crown. He eventually served as an administrator for his father as the old king grew older and older. He effectively organized the construction of several small villages between the cities of Weawich and Feller's Rock to strengthen the commerce in Lysandus and military power. Him and his father planned out the construction of Morgeston as well, and the building of the city would be completed in 5745. However, his great failure came in his late 30's. As Wulfric Dragonbane died, Prince Adran attempted to stop an orc raid in the town of Clanmoore. Here was the first defeat of the Knights of Dragonbane without their leader, and Prince Adran was injured in the raid. Prince Adran had remembered what Wulfric told him in life: Wulfric's failure to save Obesfeld. The middle aged Prince felt as if this was his greatest undoing, seeing even a mere village destroyed. Prince Adran thus began to grow larger military forces, much to the disdain of his ailing father King Jacob. Then, in the year 5650, King Jacob died of an illness. In the same year, Adran Oncett was crowned King of Lysandus. He had great expectations on his shoulders. Could he live up to the glory of his grandfather Mortimer II, and his father Jacob the Sage? Many would have to see.Sources:
