Brigid - The Elven All-Mother
Myths
According to Elven myth, Brigid literally birthed all that was living from her womb. From the plants to the animals to the fey itself, the All-Mother created life in order to bring chaos in the world that Bolder had made, which was “rigid and boring” in her eyes. Through a spout of pain in birth, she loved what she created. Strife, conflict, love, joy, and other aspects of life were invented by Brigid to bring chaos into an interesting world. She was particularly fond of the Elves, which she made in her own image. It is this reason that male elves do not have beards, for they also have feminine features. In a joint effort with her brother Maclir, she used his waters to help creatures on the land keep living through storms. However, when the god Boldur distressed anger for them messing with his earth, Brigid blamed Maclir for causing it all. Thus, Maclir was shunned, and Brigid continued on with her creation. This created a rift that would never be fixed between the two.Tir Nanog
According to the elves of Gaelitia, Tir Nanog is an afterlife for those elves who did what was good and noble in the harsh life that Brigid had gifted them. It is a place with food and drink, pleasure, and constant partying with the rest of the souls that followed this path. It is a place to connect with other aspects of life, including animals and plants.Divine Domains

History
Maclir and Brigid are twin gods, being the fore bearers of all that is living. However, Brigid's chaotic nature proved to be what split the relationship between them, creating hatred among Sea Elves and Land Elves.
History
After the Elves fell for the seduction of Morganine, they warred and divided themselves. The High Elves exiled some of their Drow brethren to the Underdark. There part of Brigid would leave, as she could not abandon her children. As such, Lolth technically is Brigid. She is just a twisted and cruel version of her, embracing the darkness of life. Which is why she considers her lighter self a coward and too gentle. Lolth and Brigid plan on uniting the Elves one day, but that appears impossible at the moment.
